enjoy the smoke greatly (and I look forward to my next bowl) but there's not a lot of sophistication here. If you're looking for a strong cherry flavor or looking for a way to add a cherry note to one of your own blends, then you won't be disappointed with this blend. Read Less

This is a really good cherry aromatic (MHO). Mine came not too wet. Stayed lit for the most part, and had little to no tongue bite. Nice room note too.

n't a tobacco aroma at all from the bag. I was reluctant to even smoke it from fear of ghosting my pipes with the strong flavor.
I was underwhelmed by Burley & Black and quickly started a journey to find other tastier blends, better aromatics and just higher quality tobacco in general. I actually left this and the Burley & Black sitting in their plastic bags on my counter top for a month while I explored and built up my collection of other blends. I basically used these two blends as air fresheners (they both smell really good). The time spent drying did both of these tobaccos some good, but they both have so much propylene glycol in them that they never fully dried out and still bite no matter how slow your cadence. A month on the counter in a plastic bag, and both tobaccos were almost the same moisture level as when I first bought them!
Anyway, I ended up jarring an ounce of Very Cherry and mixing the other ounce with about 3 ounces of the Burley & Black. I believe this is Very Cherry's true purpose for existing, as a condiment tobacco to mix with other lackluster tobaccos to give them some oomph. Burley & Black is pretty boring, but with a bit of this mixed in it at least tastes a little bit like cherries.
Room note is very cherry. Flavor is very cherry. The tobacco is true to its name. I'll hang onto the other ounce in case I want to add cherry flavor to something else. Read Less

ff. A few days pass and I open my tobacco drawer and get smacked in the face with that same overwhelming cherry scent. Begrudgingly I went ahead and loaded a cob I didn’t care with the stuff thinking I should at least give it a chance.
Upon lighting I was pleasantly surprised by a subtle cherry flavor and the nutty taste of what I assume is the black cavendish. This stuff turned out to be pretty decent despite the eye watering cherry scent applied to it.
This tobacco also burned extremely quickly and barely bit at all.
Overall I think I can recommend this blend if you’re a cherry fan but I can’t give it a full 5 star rating and I won’t be ordering more once I’ve smoked or given away the 2oz I have on hand now. All because of that sickly sweet overpowering cherry scent. Read Less

is mild. Flavoring is medium, with notes of sugared cherries, both drop to the background just past the 1/2 way point where they remain. Taste is mild to medium and very consistent, with notes of cherries, brown sugar, wood, spices, grassy, citrus, nuts, dry, acidic, orange peel/zest, hay, savory, tangy, mildly bitter, a sweet bread background note, and a smooth retro. Flavoring leads most of the bowl, trading off with the Virginias in the last 1/3. Black Cavendish and Burley is supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is ok. Read Less

If you are a cherry fiend and want that cherry overload, this is it. Perfect moisture content out of the bag, lit and smoked very well. Very small amount of bite at the beginning, but entirely manageable. Smallish-medium sized bowl smoked for 45 minutes. I will be keeping this jarred and on hand at all times. A+ Read Less

Great for blending. The cherry flavor is strong and stays pronounced throughout the bowl. Nice real cherry note. At times a little too much like a scented candle. Not good as a solo smoke.

ried this cherry blend and loved it! I was a little excited by the aroma, so I puffed away a little too fast. Smoke this stuff SLOW, and it won't bite. Stayed lit for me, and flavor through the smoke, even the first bowl. Good stuff for sure. Read Less
