New pipe smoker likes it!
As a new pipe smoker, I’m trying new blends and figuring out what the different tobaccos taste like. I don’t regret trying this blend at all. I’m looking forward to another order.

Comoy's - Cask No.2
A fantastic experience
I enjoyed my first bowl of Cask #2. I could sense the vanilla more than I could the cocoa, but it was a fantastic experience. You won't regret giving this aromatic a try.

Cornell & Diehl - Old Joe Krantz
Strong but delightful
I found this blend to be a great experience even though the nicotine hit is significant but pleasant. It has a wonderful earthy, slightly spicy, full flavor. I'm very much looking forward to my next bowl and I'm also looking forward to the other variations of Old Joe Krantz that are available. If you're used to lighter tobaccos or aromatics, this is a great one to try but be aware that you will get a buzz from the nicotine that you may not be used to.

Lane Limited - Very Cherry
Lots of cherry flavor
I'm new to pipe smoking and wanted to give a cherry aromatic a try. The first cherry aromatic I tried was a drug store brand and I didn't enjoy it. (No doubt due to my inexperience with pipe smoking at the time). This blend is VERY CHERRY. I did enjoy the smoke greatly (and I look forward to my next bowl) but there's not a lot of sophistication here. If you're looking for a strong cherry flavor or looking for a way to add a cherry note to one of your own blends, then you won't be disappointed with this blend.

Lane Limited - 1-Q
You will not regret giving it a try
I'm a new pipe smoker, so I was quite excited to acquire some highly rated 1-Q. Finally gave it a try on a nice February walk in Minnesota (USA). I was certainly not disappointed. Vanilla flavoring was mild yet noticeable, even to my inexperienced palate. This is an excellent smoke and you won't regret giving it a try.

Borkum Riff - Original 1.5oz
Not a bad smoke at all
I am new to pipe smoking. It was with this tobacco that I made my breakthrough in pipe smoking. Perhaps you will remember your own breakthrough. Started puffing too hard and/ or too deeply. Tobacco ended up getting singed. I finally learned how to sip the smoke, how to coax the flavor out of the tobacco, and how not to get a burnt ash taste. I enjoyed Borkum Riff Original. I'm too new at pipe smoking to make this my go-to blend, but it ranks high for me. I enjoyed it very much.

Super Value - Cherry Cavendish 12oz
Didn't particularly care for it.
New pipe smoker here. Keep in mind as you read this that I firmly believe that the best tobacco is the tobacco that YOU like. I did not find this blend very pleasant to smoke. It smelled good out of the pouch. This was the tobacco I purchased along with my first pipe, so I bought the cheapest that the store had to offer. I may try other Super Value blends but not this one.

Captain Black - Gold 1.5oz
Mild, pleasant smoke
I'm a new pipe smoker, so my experience is limited. However, I found this tobacco to be quite pleasant and one of my favorites so far. It was a very pleasant, light smoke. I do not regret giving it a try at all.

Peter Stokkebye - PS84 Turkish Blend
An excellent introduction to Orientals
I'm a new pipe smoker. I found this to be an excellent introduction to an oriental blend. I highly recommend this if you're looking to try a blend with oriental components.
