ckground, just enough to donate a little spice to the blend. A delicate floral note can be picked-up now and then, which can originate from natural tobacco or topping.
I am normally scared off by artificial flavourings. Here I find it unobtrusive. According to the producer, this blend has been cased with Scotch Whisky. But – I cannot find a single trace of it. It is a Medium (or medium-fine) Ribbon Cut. Anyway, it is a smooth, tasty and mellow all-day smoke, not leading into depth. Read Less

This won't blow your mind but much like Rick Astley, it won't let you down. I couldn't discern much in terms of ingredients, as the flavoring served to obscure rather than highlight any given leaf.

dium and nic is mild to medium. Flavoring is very mild, with notes of Scotch whisky. Mild whisky taste on initial light and falls to the background soon after. Taste is medium and moderately consistent, with notes of mild whisky, peaty vegetation, toast, herbal floral, nutty, zesty lemon grass, spices, savory, tart sour citrus, earth, molasses, bitter orange peel, acidic, a wood and tangy dark fruit background note, and a peppery retro. Burley and Kentucky seem to by swapping the lead with Oriental/Turkish and Virginia supporting. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great. Read Less

mokes. The Savinelli Dry System is ideal as is the Peterson System pipes (P-Lip) for a wonderful smoke. Overall this is a top 10 blend and my hats off to Davidoff for such a great blend. The Dark Fired offers a different flavor from the Latakia in most English blends. Read Less
Mellow blend

When I started smoking tinned tobacco (90's) this and the medallions in the red tin were the two that were available at the tobacconist. I preferred the red tin. This one is enjoyable, mellow, and easy on the palate.

Hoot man , if ye hanker for a wee bit of spice out of the moors this is the brew for you . Not exactly what we would call a Scottish mixture but it will warm you under the kilt . Good cut and moisture , have a wee dram before ye smoke it .
