ce in its proper merits...our nose is immersed in the most delicate scents; not a kick in the nose as other aromatic tobaccos with its excessive smells.
Finally, smoke is easy and pleasant as the pack opening suggests. I only had problems with a churchwarden, but discovered how to solve it...just not tighten as much as in the classic pipes. Read Less

It's weird that I can't quite pick out a certain flavor of the ones listed, but they all work together in unison to create a really good tobacco. It has a wonderful tin and room note. This is an easygoing all day smoke.

Aroma of this tobacco really hits you as soon as you open pack. Strong chocolate notes. Taste is mild, however a bit sour. Very cool tin box, looks really classy.

is aromatic smell to the generation- millenniums, and all I received was smile, compliments and surprisingly, a dame’s number. I recommend taking your time with this tobacco while keeping a very slow fire. Tiny puffs... to enjoy its hidden flavors. Smoked fast will lead to gurgle. Read Less

s of fairly high quality, and again, it's got a great flavor....i.e., a great tobacco flavor. And while there is a very nice orange background to it, there's simply not enough of it, in my opinion anyway, to be considered a typical, topped, aromatic. Someone in another comment mentioned Great Dane; now that is truly a great aromatic, and that's mainly why no one can keep it in stock. This one, even though the flavors are advertised to be very different, doesn't come close to that in the intensity department (for lack of a better term). Read Less

sant aroma and a mild to moderate room note. The tin is beautiful, and inside the tobacco comes sealed in a foil bag...very nice. So, why not 4 or 5 stars? Well, it was totally dried out right out of the vacuum sealed bag I unsealed myself. I'm not sure how this could have happened or if this is rare or typical of the brand. Personally, I would like to have tried this same mixture a bit moister. Overall, if the description sounds good to you and other reviews have led you to "1864", I'd say try it. If you have no issues with dry tobacco you could easily enjoy this "Perfect Mixture". If however, you like your aromatics a bit on the sweet and sticky side, you may want to try another. Read Less

The first reviewer put it well. Highly aromatic, delicious. The only reason its not 5 stars for me? It burns hot, smoke it very slowly and its great.
