istics of a C&D Blend. It is quite dry, very easy to light and burn. When you smell it, you smell Latakia, but also a sweet note of the Virginia and nutty smell of black cavendish. You can compare it with C&D Constellation. But London Squire is a bit less bold, and Black Cavendish is not so promiment. It reminds me somehow old Dunhill- Blends as they where still made at murrays. London or Standdard Mixture for example. London Squire is the most elegant, yet sophisticated C&D Latakia- Blend that i know. It has not such a big Nic- hit, and not a overwhelming Latakia- Content. Very harmonioulsly middle of the road english. Taste is quite complex, with a nutty- smoky notes and little sweetness. This could meant to be a Pease- Blend.
I would recommend London Squire to those that look for a real classic english. Or those that find usual C&D Bulk- blends too strong. or even those, that look for a good quality, rich and elegant all- day smoke. Will Buy it again! Read Less

ng and sweetness towards the orange side and a very faint hint of yellowed grass. Not much Latakia, but it plays along in support for a cool, smooth, nice English blend. Reminds a bit of a sharper Arango Balkan Supreme (preferred - richer, thicker bigger flavor), but there are some Burley overtones here and there. Not catching any nuttiness from the Burley, did get some very slight general Burley flavor, also did catch a hint of cigarette at one faint point in the retrohale. Plenty of great flavor here overall, though I would prefer Balkan Supreme, Presbyterian, Super Balkan, or Billy Budd more when looking for this style of flavor.
Burns cool and excellent down to ash, with little relights. With heavier puffing I did get some moisture that could gurgle very slightly, more of a few pops - some dry time probably would prevent the moisture accumulation since it was a bit moist. This quite after a few minutes and no moisture left in the bowl at end - no bites either. Would be a great English smoke any time of day or night. ◄7.2/10✠Skulls► Read Less

hter, spicier nuance from the oriental/turkish, London Squire provides a respite from those with a mellowed, solid, earthy medium English. This isn’t one I sit and contemplate over, rather it’s one that I can smoke all day and never tire my taste buds with. Westminster, the unequalled traditional English, is an example of one that requires time to ponder and enjoy, but also bombards your tastes with a wash of rich nuance. It’s really a harmonious mixture that is easily an all-day English and can be had in bulk at a comparatively inexpensive price. Nicotine is light/med, body is med, and flavor is med. Solid mixture. A great balance - nothing out of line - to me it was mild despite the ‘hearty’ description - very low on the mic. Enjoyable and well balanced - solid choice, but a bit tame. The notes are spicy, smokey with a hint of sweetness. The taste of Latakia is very dominant in the mix. I am not an English connoisseur, however, this tobacco is a joy to smoke! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
