This is my go to blend for everyday smoking, smooth and always burns well. If you have not tried it get a tin or 12. It also ages well, so buy a few cans to put back.

very pleasant. Sense latakia, perique and some turkish too ( but not too straight forward). I can sense creaminess and tiny bit of spiciness too, leaves good aftertaste and wet/creamy feeling in mouth, nice room note, I think it can be smoked inside.
Tin note: smells like a bottle of good rum. ( Perhaps vanilla flavored rum).
Strength: mild/ mind-medium.
Nicotine: low/ low-medium.
Taste: medium
Smoked fresh out of a tin, comes a little moist ( but that's the way I actually like my tobaccos, doesn't interfere with lighting or smoking process), since I'm a very slow smoker I need couple of relights, but I think most of you won't need many.

taste. I will say this I wouldn’t in anyway shape or form describe it as an English or even an English Aromatic. However, if you’re just looking for a nice, smooth, tasty aromatic, you absolutely can’t go wrong with this stuff. I’ll also say if you have a friend that wants to try pipe tobacco, don’t give them Captain Black give them this. I guess that’s how I would describe it, a very high class high-quality Captain Black. It can get a bit bitter if smoked too fast cause of the perique though. If I had one criticism, it would be that I wish it had less Black cavendish, and more of the Orientals Perique and Latakia so the English flavor could come through more. Read Less

I dont know if THIS is THAT pipe tobacco, but it is certainly in the lead right now. The tin note is delicious, packs easy, burns well, tastes sweet but not cloyingly sweet; smell is pleasant and inviting. honestly I found myself packing 3 bowls in a row while on a 2.5 hour long conference call for work.
