About This Pipe
The "230", a rather smallish bent billiard, appears to be a new design introduced with the Kapet series. It really shouldn't be surprising to see a pipemaker known for a very definitive aesthetic, and some very long-running designs testing the waters first with its more affordable lines. The bowl is that of a pleasantly compact, slightly brandy-esque billiard; the stem and shank are classic Peterson in their robust thickness leading to a rapid taper nearing the bit. All-in-all I suspect this new form is one we'll be seeing more of in the future as it wins over those fortunate enough to try one out.
