About This Pipe
Upon spying this "wonky" auburn-finished freehand, our own Adam Davidson expressed a desire to have a look at Mogens Johansen's sanding and polishing set up. He was, understandably, a little envious of the process that Mogens' ability to achieve so rapidly such a smooth polish, even in a shape as unusual as this. A small pillow with sandpaper affixed, I suspect, could perhaps reach all the necessary nooks and crannies. Failing that, perhaps there are lasers at work. As a child of the 80s, I have an unshakable faith in the power of lasers to accomplish anything. Want to come out on top in an intercontinental nuclear exchange? Lasers. Yearning for 20/20 vision? Lasers. Looking for a way to discretely infuriate a high school teacher in front of the whole class? Lasers.
