About This Pipe
A gorgeous little "opera" style Billiard, this Castello Collection features the oval bowl form of the aforementioned sub-type, while retaining a circular chamber - something many indeed prefer. It is, as you might expect, a very handy little pocket-sized number, with a delightfully smooth and natural feel. Indeed, wherein oval-chambered "opera"s the elongated bowl shape is a means of allowing more chamber into a smaller, slimmer cross-sectioned briar, in this case it instead seems to serve the purposes of both lending more substance, and therefore more comfort in hand, as well as allowing the tight, fine birdseye (as indicated by the "Occhio de Pernice" stamping) to be all the better displayed.
