Partially Sanblasted Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Starting out anchored by a very robust set of proportions, this Benni Jorgensen design then builds up from there by introducing a nice bit of not-too-drastic, but still clearly evident, artistic asymmetry. This is achieved by tweaking the thick-walled bowl's elongated cross-section just a handful of degrees counter-clockwise, then counterpointing this play of form by running a slender ridge down from the rim along the underside. Taking into account that the latter element would have significantly less mass to it, Benni shaped it to follow a more acute angle (when viewed from above or below), making for a more effective counter-balance to the rotation of the cross-section.
