About This Pipe
There were a lot of different pipes made for Bjarne Nielsen. The vast majority were less-expensive offerings, and then there were special creations made by hand - entirely from bowl to button - that were offered. This piece is a great example of that higher-end of Bjarne offerings; sporting a band of briar sandwiched between wafers of lighter woods to contrast against the dense cross-grain bowl.
