Unexpected
I chose to not buy the previous years. I’m mad that I did. Fresh out of the tin it’s a creamy smoke . Smokes very much like the tin note. Smokes cool, doesn’t get harsh . To me it’s similar to corn cob pipe and a button nose. Yummy and creamy.

Fantastic
Just cracked one of my newly arrived tins and couldn’t load my pipe fast enough. I loved last years, and was excited for this years. It does not dissapoint. I’ve always been a fan of plum pudding but the christmas releases have become my favorite. I’m having a hard time deciding if last years or this years is better. I’m leaning towards this years. Might pick up another 3 tins. Great smoke. Can’t wait for next years!!!!

Nice and christmasy
Love it, smells like hot chocolate in the tin. Smokes with subtle chocolate and marshmallows. I’m not much of an aro smoker but really enjoy this one.

Kopp - Drake 50g
Bubble gum
Smells great out of the tin. Once lit , it tastes very bubble gummish. Now I don’t smoke aro’s that much. Which could be why I’m not a fan. I mostly smoke dark fired, so take this review with a grain of salt. To a non aro smoker, it seems way over the top. But if your looking for juicy fruit this may be your jam! Enjoy your smoke!

I missed last years release, but I’m not here to cry about it. I absolutely love this tobacco. My usual smokes are G&H dark and GLP Stonehenge , but this is just fantastic. It has what the mentioned tobaccos are missing. This has jumped to the top of my rotation. Don’t think it will last to see any age on it.

Dear god. From the first light it was horrible, I tried to give it time but it only ghosted my pipe with that awful flavor. The first bowl I’ve ever dumped out, but apparently not fast enough. Sour grapes, bad wine ghost. Be afraid!!!!!

I’ve sat in this tin for about 4 years. It got lost in the cellar. I should have opened it and bought more. It has a good base of tobacco taste with a fig/raisin finish. I will be buying more, should have bought them years ago.

Updating my review from last year. This has aged wonderfully. One year has mellowed the cloying sweetness and turned it into a repeatable smoke. Similar to Sleepy Hollow but different. I’m not an aromatic smoker , I tend to stick with dark fired blends, but this one impresses with a little age. If you haven’t tried it I highly recommend you pick up a tin or 8 and visit it in a year. You won’t be dissapointed.

Nightcap
I'm a huge nightcap fan. I have lots in the cellar. Upon lighting this my senses return to my first bowl of nightcap. When the flame hits the tobacco its a Nightcap twin, but settles into something fantastic. It smokes so mellow and takes you to a wonderful place, but every re-light brings you back to Nightcap. The last 1/4 of the bowl turns a little sweeter. I cant say its better than nightcap, because nothing is. But this is a true Joy to smoke. Well done C&D. Thank You

Such a good blend, my absolute favorite. Im an idiot and missed the realease, I did manage to pick up a couple tins from www.tobaccopipes.com they had limits. a little extreme but it let everyone get some. unlike the SP 15 tin limit so they can sell them for inflated value.

Love the flavor, wish I could smoke it. Bought 12 tins from last years run. the worst tongue bite ever.. Hoping it will settle itself down in a few years. Sansepolcro much better

Heavenly . Honey upfront , with a slight floral finish on the retrohale. Pleasant after taste. Was lucky enough to grab 12 tins. Well see how the other 11 age. Fantastic fresh. Can’t wait to see it age year by year. Well maybe I’ll age 10 since this tin is growing thin. :p

Charing light was almost foul. But it developed into a very mild grassy/hay flavor. :D!!!! Burns a little hot, But being trained on English that could be my fault. Puffenstein. Not a bad smoke, but im gonna cellar it for a year or two and try again.

I lean toward latakia blends, but this is just heaven. Sweet, Figgy, and Full. smokes great right out of the tin. (tin is crappy, its hinged and tobacco is in a bag) But what a great smoke! Double your order, you'll thank me!
