Sutliff - Tobacco Galleria: Night Cap
The best of all
This is the best tobacco blend I've bought to this point. I bought it mistaking it for Peterson's Nightcap, but surprisingly it wasn't something worth being upset over. I'm so glad that I made that mistake, and though I will buy the Peterson Nightcap when I have the money to spend, this wasn't a wasted purchase and has become my favorite pipe tobacco so far. It has all of the sweetness that others have described, and because of its wonderful strength, it's a good tobacco to save and have once every month or so (at least for me, as I only smoke a few times a month). Amazing to smoke while reading a long history book 👍

Sutliff - Z92 Vanilla Custard
Wonderful for reading on a cold night
This was the first few pipe tobaccos I've tried, and my second favorite of all time. My first smoke was while sitting outside on a cold night, reading a C.S. Lewis book, and just thinking about life. It was a great pipe tobacco that I came back to a few times after that, and it does have the tastes that people describe. I'm not an expert nor a fan of describing those flavors or notes or any of that, maybe just because I'm horrid at it, but this one does have a wonderful vanilla flavor, and a slight burley taste that I've tasted in a couple of other pipe tobaccos that I find quite nice and adds to the blends as a whole. Overall it's a very nice tobacco that I'll buy more again, and a great one to smoke during some night reading. It might be nice to blend with other nice aromatics, for me ones like Sutliff's Tobacco Galleria Nightcap, and W.O. Larsen's 1864 sound like they'd fit that 👍

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Not my personal preference
This was the first pipe tobacco I had the chance to try after cigars, and I can say with confidence that it isn't my favorite whatsoever--with a heavy heart I can say it's the worst one that I've tried. I bought 4oz after reading and seeing reviews on the tobacco, expecting the smoke to have flavors of maple and brown sugar as the description describes. It didn't have a good taste whatsoever, tasting pretty thick and dirty, if that makes sense. Thought it could be possible that the batch I received was a bad one, but sadly it's just not my personal preference. So while others might find those flavors, not me. I put the rest in a couple of mason jars to sit for quite a bit, and maybe when I come back to it I'll write another review.
