SMOOTH & MILD
My first try of Kendal gold in my Savinelli 320... good flavor, nutty and not too sweet. shag cut is nice, burns fast but no bite. will buy this again, suits my flavor profile as a Virginia smoker. Good all around smoke through out the day for sure... also a good RYO flavorful tobacco, the cut rolls nice... UPDATE: I enjoyed Kendal Gold so much I ordered 500 g / 1lb+ P.S. -- its always a pleasure doing business with Smoking Pipes, good products, fast processing and delivery. And, prices seem very reasonable as well.
Tampers & Tools - Tobacco Pipe Wind Cap
Works as advertized
Bought 2 of these and they work well in the outdoors and windy conditions. Keeps tobacco and sparks from flying our of the pipe, and burning too fast due to wind. Glad I bought these as they are handy and seem to fit any pipe. Only gave it 4 stars because of the sticker right on the holes with a nasty adhesive - so spent 5 minutes removing the sticker and glue. Here is an idea -- put the sticker on the sealed bag it comes in not on the screen cover. Guess no one smokes a pipe where these are made, if you catch my drift...

Wonderful full flavor
Great Virginia and Burley blend. mild, flavorful, and nice tobacco cut for RYO. Mildly sweet, all around a good tobacco and smoke.......Would purchase again.

Beautiful coins
Being a VA/Per smoker, the added touch of black Cavendish was a nice add to this blend. Smokes true to a Va/Per with a little bit of a cavindish pop. I bounce between this and the Flake - both rewarding smokeable tobacco.

VA/PER delight....
The more I smoke this the more I want to smoke it.... Very nice blend of VA and Per. in a flake cut. Fantastic flavors from the Virginia and Perique combo, they play in harmony and deliver a great smoke.

Very nice and very smokable. Dunhill blends are surely some of the best blends. Just the right amount of Perique to know its there But not enough to 'Sting 'you ... SOLID VA/Per blend.. AND there is something about the tin art I like as well ...

"These filters really make a difference in My cobs. Knocks down the harsh and beastly nature of some tobacco. Never a Bite and seems to provide a drier smoke. Like the price too. Does not change the flavor or smokability of a pipe either......
Sutliff - 707 Sweet Virginia
Pleasurable Virginia
Nice tobacco, I like the broken almost rubbed out flake. Burns well, smokes very nice and it does carry a sweeter than usual room note and flavor but nothing like some of the aromatics I have tried. I like this and would purchase again.....

A gentle twist to a Virginia
in making the rounds in the Virginia blends, this one is very different in flavor. the added Orientals and mind you just a touch of Oriental is a nice combination. Smokes well, flavor is nice as is room note. seems to burn rather fast but that is most likely due to the shag cut. nice laid back and very smokable tobacco.

Virginia Mild, smokes like a true and Natural Virginia tobacco, Just what I was looking for - nothing dramatic, nothing to write home about. Just a solid Virginia without the added fanfare ....
Peter Stokkebye - PS52 Proper English
Not my bowl of BACCY......
Thought I would try an English Blend for the first time and picked this English Proper. Guess I am not a English blend kinda guy. Smoking VA/Per's and being a commited VA/Per smoker I just could not make the leap into the camp fire and grilled meat with a ketchup topping that this blend offers. Not My 'bowl of baccy' but at least I tried. Seemed Mild, lit and burned well, but I just cant get past the Orientals and Latakia overtones in both the room note and nose

charbroiled sirloin - well
Thought I would try this as a dedicated Va-Per smoker. Bag note was of hickory camp fire, Room note the same. Mild and very smokable, however the taste and nose of this was truly like a very well done, did I mention VERY WELL DONE charbroiled sirloin steak with a ketchup topping. Not my "bowl of Baccy" you can only discover what you like by trying and this was a valiant effort to expand my tobacco horizons but at least I know what I don't like in a tobacco now. ------Excuse me while I load up a bowl of Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake with Virginia and Perique to kill the taste of this stuff....

Best VA-PER blend yet. if your new to Virginia/Perique blends this is the one you want to start with!! mild, Virginias offer up a nice but controlled sweetness and the Perique is in moderation but just enough to know its there. Perfect blend for a peaceful afternoon smoke or everyday.... ...update: ---smoking this for 2 weeks now and its still an excellent blend. I enjoy it so much I ordered another half pound!! and probably should have ordered 2 full pounds............ I use a dedicated Savinelli 320 author with balsa 6mm filter and its a great combo,
Dunhill - Navy Rolls 50g
wonderful
thought I was an aromatic smoker but since trying Dunhill Navy rolls I am hooked on Virginas and Perique blends. Dunhill really hit the mark on this blend -smooth, no bite and a fantastic smoke for sure. will restock very soon to cellar.....
