Do I just not get this?
Opening the tim this stuff smelled like blue cheese. I dried some out and loaded a bowl. It’s meh. I get nothing out of this stuff. What am I missing? How is this rated so high? I don’t think I would ever buy this again

so i made the beautiful mistake of rubbing 2 swuares out for a bowl.. packed it and enjoyed a wonderful almost 2 hours of smoking. this was fantastic and i want it all the time now. its mild and delicate and this will be in constant rotation. get some you will like it and if you dont ill take it off your hands for cheap!!

I don’t get it....
So i know this is like one of those old tyme tobaccos that have been in families for eons.... but I don’t get it. It was a nice smoke, mild flavor and nice room note but there wasn’t anything that would make me want to keep reaching for it. It lacked the complexities that I’m currently looking for on my journey.

I enjoyed this mild smoke. It does have some bread like taste to it. It was a nice removal from the usual English that i enjoy smoking. It’s a very nice smoke, light and mild. If it goes on sale i would probably pick up a few ounces again. I wouldn’t go to the ends of the earth to find it but if its there when I get there I will smoke it!

Nice English
This is a nice smoke. It’s not the best English that i have had but its very very nice. Subtle and very tasty. If i cant get my hands on the full English dark blend then this would be my number 2 for sure. Just a very very nice smoke (if you like the English that is)

Ok. I like it a lot. Will be really nice when it gets a little fall chill in the air. I packed a pipe and let it sit about 8-9 hours. Smokes great

This is my first balkin so I have nothing to compare it to other than the fact that I like it. Pretty mellow. Not over powering. Everyday smoke? Maybe. Worth the sample tho

I got nothing pleasant from this. It was a little dry on arrival so I will attribute it’s general poorness to that. I’ll give it a rehydrate and try again in a few weeks.

I dont see the hype with this one. Its good but its not great. i want to mix some of this with another tobacco (Dunhill Full english i think). I would get it again maybe if it was on sale or something.

I think i like this stuff.... i have to smoke more of it to be sure.. But it has a note of chocolate / raisins .. i had this after dinner a few nights ago and it was fairly enjoyable .

Dunhill - My Mixture 965
Pretty good
I will start with the fact that i like Aeros........ this is pretty good. It has a quite a punch in the pipe. The tin note is nice. Reminds me of whiskey and raisins. It is more cigar like rather than pipe smoke... but its a nice change of pace

Really nice
For the price this stuff burned great. Packed well and I was left with mostly a very fine white ash with few relights. Smokes well with a little tamping here and there. The flavor was very mild and pleasant I would say this is a nice tobacco when you want a light non aro smoke.

Pretty good stuff. I did the ol fold and stuff method. I found that under the first layer there was a very hard disc. Maybe next bowl I will rub out a bit. I filled my pipe the night before and let it sit so I could have it after breakfast and still had considerable delights. When it’s burning correctly it is a very nice smoke! A little goes a long way. I used 3 coins and smoke for over an hour.
