I Give Up
I have given up trying to articulate why I like this blend so much. I even tried to talk myself out of liking it. Not sure why. I used to not reach for it often. Too busy with the manly Latakia bombs and snobby Vapers I guess but I have finally decided that I just like it. Never had a bad bowl of Crooner. I will always have some on hand.

Hits The Spot
I don’t have the experience to say where this Burley ranks with others. Opinions are subjective and your mileage may vary. What I can say is I have enjoyed this Burley more than any other Burley I’ve smoked. I love the shag cut. I wish more blends came as shag cuts. Five Brothers is as most have already described: straightforward, unflavored and strong. The simple “burleyness” is right there from start to finish. No looking around for nuances here for sure. Pack it firm and smoke it slow for a pleasantly simple experience. I like it most often in a cob. Respect the nicotine in this one. If you don’t, it won’t respect you!
