It is an interesting proposal for a medium english blend. Latakia is very present and constant throughout smoked, in fact if you smell it before burning this tobacco, you'll notice that very strong vinegary smell. In my view, the orientals affirm the mouthfeel and gives you a pleasant smoke and not very heavy.

Excellent Blend
Cold smell something soapy with fresh notes of acid sweet fruit like a plums very nice. You can smoke directly from the tin. Burning it delivers a pretty nice not very thick smoke, rich flavor. It has a constant strength from start to finish. I must admit I expected more presence of Latakia, anyway highly recommended.

I don´t know if this tobacco have the same strength, flavor and intensity that 70's or 80's sobranie, but anyway this sobranie is a spectacular tobacco with a Latakia very present from start to finish. This stuff have cool somoke, something light and very rich. Smoking in the morning or before going to sleep is a mess... In another order of things, the scores here should be granted for the tobacco's quality and not because someone failed to buy it. The stars are unrelated to this spectacular tobacco.

It is an exquisite blend. I think it's very well made, so much so that at the burn is not possible to determine the supremacy of Latakia or the Virginias present. Cold, it smells ene or wet grass. Intense and very strong. I recommend to dry the flake in the air for one hour or two before burning and then smoke it slow and pause to appreciate its strength and flavor.

Do not know how to define it... I just tested only through the gift p0uch coming and actually came quite dry, it is nonetheless extremely smooth and it is hardly possible to notice the present work. Maybe in the tin otherwise noted.

Cornell & Diehl - Bourbon Bleu 2oz
Interesting
When I opened my tin of C & D Bourbon Blue and the first thing that came out was a slightly woody smell, dry with a hint of earth smell of the countryside. It's a pretty hard cake, more than others, but that calls sawing and burn (hopefully in a small bowl pipe) to know that may result. A Luigi Viparti of my collection was chosen. They appear to dissect those spectacular embraced the dark Virginias kentucky fire and a well perique long and thin. When turned on, it stings a little bit (not little) and the first thing that embraces the mouth is the kentucky, something reminiscent smell of dry wood for the fireplace. By gently bounce the smoke, perique starts pushing from behind, as if each had their turn flavor finally sweeten the Virginias present something that flavor to summer camp tomorrow.
