Ser Jacopo: Insanus Sandblasted Bent Apple with Silver (S1) (D) (1) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-4486

Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's Insanus series is among some of their more inventive offerings, with the line characterized by surrealist interpretations of iconic shapes. This bent Apple rendition is most striking in its shank-and-stem arrangement, fashioned to appear as if it were broken in two and then repaired with a coil of wire. Despite its appearance, the shank is drilled with a continuous airway that's sure to keep smoke flowing throughout. In addition to its captivating presentation, this piece also boasts a comfortable form factor, with the pert, plump bowl fitting snugly in hand, and the demurely downturned saddle stem pairing with the shank to offer a comfortable smoking posture. The stummel here is dressed in a crisp, inky sandblast, complemented by a silver accent band at the shank end for a dose of flash.
