ht a pouch to try. I consider this a good blend for an aromatic smoker to try, NOT someone who's already into English blends. As English blends go, Super Value: English Mixture is about as far away from top shelf as it gets. However, to my surprise this is not all that bad and actually quite pleasant. The reviews I had seen nailed it! It may be mass market tobacco, but it's far from what you'd expect. The Latakia IS as weak as you'd expect, but there's enough to hint at “English” flavor. The Perique is even harder to find. I don't consider this “Medium” strength either. It is extremely light and airy, bite-free, and has a soft worry-free ribbon cut. It's weak, but tastes nice. It's cheap, but not poor quality. It's mass market, but may just appeal to select individuals. If you try this as your first English and enjoy it, I recommend John Bull Royal English, another very light English with a much better Latakia flavor and aroma (sadly, not sold at smokingpipes.com). Flavorful & smooth. Not the medium nic hit shown, but nic not absent either. Sort of a Carter Hall blending approach to a light English.

lar to John Bull or American Patriot. It is light for an English Blend, but it is ideal for somebody wanted to break into English Blends, or for somebody that wants something a little stronger than the aromatic blends. Read Less

t. Yes, it is cheap but I would much rather smoke Balkan Supreme as a budget blend.

I would recommend this blend if you are trying English tobacco for the first time. It is subtle in every note and will not disappoint a beginner.
For seasoned English smokers it just does not stand to par in terms of taste and complexity.

get this will provide a good smoke for a good price. I didn't have an issue with the moisture as stated in another review, only reason this isn't a 5 star baccy for me is the mildness of this blend, still worth having in your cellar. Read Less
