ello, everyone, I am Tyler Caldwell with Smokingpipes. Today I want to talk to you about a very new brand known as J. London and their Gold Series line. This is very much a high-end, luxury-style brand presented by J. London.

Ideal for Fans of Ashton Classics, Davidoff, and United Atabey Cigars

For fans of cigars like the Ashton Classics, the Davidoffs, and the Atabey by United, this is going to be right up your alley. The J. London Gold Series line comes out of the factory of Tabacalera William Ventura, which is known for making a lot of great cigars for Caldwell Cigar Company and many other great lines.

Components of Gold Series Cigars

Within the Gold Series line, the wrapper and binder are Ecuadorian Connecticut and the fillers are going to be all Dominican. The fillers themselves are going to be aged anywhere from three to four years; the tobacco within the entire cigar itself goes through multiple fermentation processes to preserve and refine the flavors that you'll get from this.

Flavor and Strength Profiles

Speaking of the flavor that goes into this, I get a very strong, milky, heavy whipping cream-style creamy presence, as well as vanilla. You're also going to get a little hint of woody cedary-ness to go with it. Also, just a tad bit of baking spice, kind of in that soft cinnamon nutmeg flavor profile. The flavor is incredibly rich, very full-bodied, and full of flavor. But on a strength level, these cigars are about as mild as it gets, which is excellent.

Available Sizes of Gold Series

So let's go ahead and go through the sizes that we have available here for you. The one that I'm smoking right now has been my favorite size: the 6" x 46 Lonsdale. We also have, if you like something a little longer and a little thinner, their Lancero, which is also very excellent. What I enjoyed about the Lancero, like I do with most Lanceros, is that you do get a little bit more of a ramped-up flavor and just a little bit more strength from it. To go along with the thin ring gauge, but outside of the smaller ring gauges, if you do want something a little bigger, we also have their Toro here. For an even bigger preference, you could go with a Fat Robusto as well.

J. London Gold Series: A Delightful Smoke

I just want to express that this cigar here is going to be in my top five cigars of the year. I can't get enough of them. So definitely go onto Smokingpipes, check out the J. London Gold Series, and find out for yourself and see if it'll be a part of your top five.
