The included samplers, in Fuente's words, serve as a "cigar memoir" of the brand over the last 110 years. Each stick in the collection is hand-selected by Carlos "Carlito" P. Fuente Jr. and represents historical significance and several of the brand's watershed moments. The 22 cigars presented in this collection are an extension of a numerological motif present throughout Fuente's robust portfolio, where the numbers 13 and 22 recur often, with 22 specifically said to be an "angel number," one that holds "so much power that it can turn dreams into reality."

These cigars are handmade with a Dominican Chateau de la Fuente Sun Grown Rosado wrapper, Dominican binder, and AF 13 blend (mix of Opus, Don Carlos, Hemingway, and 858 tobaccos) filler. This 6 ⅜" x 48 Gran Corona is rich with notes of dark brown sugar, toasted cedar, cocoa, pepper, and baking spices.

Fuente Fuente OpusX Angel's Share

In distillation and winemaking, angel's share refers to the alcohol that evaporates from the barrel during the aging process. The name comes from the belief that angels watch over the aging liquor and wine, sample it, and give their blessings. Angel's Share sports a slight box-press and an appealing triple cap with a Dominican Chateau de la Fuente Sun Grown wrapper and Dominican filler and binder. This 5 ½" x 50 stick offers notes of leather, sweet cedar, hay, floral, and dried pit fruit.
