Cornell & Diehl - The Beast 2oz
Don’t be scared!
Wow what a crazy ride! This tobacco really surprised me! I felt a little intimidated to try it considering it’s five out of five across the board, but holy smokes was this a pleasant experience! What a perfect spooky Halloween smoke! I love the rummy, fruity, spicy, tin note, it’s delicious! It was a cool breezy autumn evening and I packed it in my Rossi Mezzanotte and lit it up and it was so absolutely awesome! Great sweetness in the flavor, definitely some spice n pepper from the Perique, and the smoke had an amazing aroma! It was so nice and relaxing and delicious. It was actually a very mellow smoke, I’ve never even experienced a nic hit from it! But I had to go slow or the Beast would rear its head and launch some pepper out my nose, haha, but overall it was super pleasant! The more I smoke it the more I’m loving it, might bump it to five stars soon! Cheers!

Another realm of flavor!
I’m so glad they brought this back cuz I was bummed I missed it the first time! This is a really darn good English blend! It’s using the new Turkish Latakia and I feel like it’s not quite as smoky and leathery as the Cyprian which I love, but it’s still really nice. It’s a little sweeter and I really do enjoy it, but I feel like it’s missing a little bit of that smoky campfire punch. But it is so smooth and well balanced and I’m really enjoying it! It has a great tin note, good flavor, and nice smoke aroma! It’s definitely a great English blend! Cheers!

A Truly Wondrous Weed!
This is a super fantastic aromatic that actually has Latakia in it! Wow! As an English/Latakia lover this was very exciting to me! The tin note is ridiculous cuz it has that yummy sweet aro smell but it’s balanced well with the natural tobacco aromas too, and you can also smell a lil smokiness from the Latakia! It’s intoxicating! It smokes smooth and cool and smells and tastes amazing! What a surprise this was! Just absolutely delicious, a new favorite for sure! Cheers!

Fantastically Awesome!!
This is an exceptionally awesome aromatic! I absolutely love the tin note, can’t quite identify all the aromas but there is definitely some vanilla, maple, baked goods, and chocolate. There’s something about it though that I can’t quite describe, it just really has a unique and yummy smell! It is a perfect presentation of beautiful delicious smelling flakes that look good enough to eat! The smoke aroma is amazing of course and it has a great sweet flavor, it actually leaves a really yummy sweetness in your mouth unlike any other aro I’ve had. But it is also really well balanced with the natural tobacco flavors and absolutely not over cased or topped! Probably one of the best aromatics I’ve ever had and definitely a new favorite! Cheers!

Sutliff - Crumble Cake Barrel Aged Series No.6 Phantom Privateer 50g
PHANTASTIC!!!
Yep I love the name, yep I love the tin art, yep I love the pirate theme, and yep I had to buy it, haharrrrrr! I’m a pirate nerd so I was sold instantly! I buy most pirate and nautical themed tobaccos, but that doesn’t always mean I love them all! I really want to love them all but sometimes I just don’t, like Sea Dog and Privateer by C&D weren’t my favorites, but I absolutely love Pirate Kake! So Phantom Privateer was an interesting one for me, at first I found it really peppery in my nose and it gave me a gnarly nic hit, also not much flavor. The tin note was delicious though, like a nice va/per but with some sweet rum! My next smoke was completely different and more enjoyable, it was smooth, good aromas, sweet flavors, really mellow, no nic hit, just a lil spicey and peppery in my nose, just awesome! And every smoke since has become more and more enjoyable! Just goes to show you how different your smoking experiences can be and it’s always good to keep trying a new tobacco and really give it a chance! Who knows this might even get bumped up to five stars soon! Cheers!

Wow this is a really amazing English blend! Mouth watering tin note, sweet and Smokey! Really nice crumble cakes! The smoke aroma and flavors are absolutely delicious! I feel like there might be a a lil liquor flavor added cuz it reminds me a bit of Black Frigate and Plum Pudding Barrel Aged which I love both of! Has perique like a lot of my favorite English blends too. Now I really want to try other blends by this brand cuz this was awesome! Cheers!

Booze and tobacco…I’m sold!
Yep, I pretty much love all boozy blends! Tobacco and booze just works, it’s absolutely a perfect marriage! And this is no exception! It’s another amazing English blend by SPC! Ridiculously delicious tin note of smoky Latakia and sweet boozy bourbon! The flavor and aroma are just intoxicating, and it stays lit and smokes cool! Not a super strong in your face Latakia blend but nice and smoky and really well balanced with the sweetness of the bourbon! I love the original Plum Pudding and now I absolutely love this blend too! It’s pretty much a more mellow and sweeter version of Plum Pudding! Happy smokes! Cheers!

…gives me yer Mud!!! Haharrrr! This truly be one of thee fynest treasures I’ve ever plundered!! This is an absolutely amazing English blend! The tin note is just ridiculously mouth watering with really delicious smelling smokiness, leathery, earthy, lil bbq tangyness, dark stewed fruit, and slight sweetness! The smoke aroma and flavor are absolutely amazing! The smoky Latakia and spicy perique are working perfectly together! Reminds me of some of my other favorites, Cerberus, Captain Earle’s Mystic and Nightwatch, Plum Pudding, etc, which is a good thing to me!! Get a tankard of ale and a bowl of Mud and set sail fer a wondrous journey, and never come back!!! Haharrrr!! Cheers!

I wanted to hate this…
Seriously I wanted to hate this so bad! I hate stuff that gets hyped up and everyone jumps on board, it usually makes me avoid it! I even hated the name of this haha! But I finally caved and decided to try it, and all I can say is WOW! It really does deserve all the hype!! This is an awesome English blend! This has an amazing tin note, great smoky leathery Latakia, deep stewed fruits, sweet and spicey, earthy, and that tangy DFK bbq smell! Love it! And it looks like delicious beef jerky strips, I seriously want to eat it! It smokes cool and the aroma and flavor are ridiculous! It instantly joined the ranks of my other favorite English blends, Pirate Kake, Cerberus, Mississippi Mud, Old Ironsides, Black Frigate, Sextant, and a bunch of the Captain Earle’s blends! So glad I tried this! It be a truly fyne smoke indeed fer this salty ol sea dogg!! Cheers ya filthy bilge rats!!!

So Scary Good!!!
This is another amazing English blend! Wow, so good! It’s everything I love in an English blend, smoky, leathery, earthy, woodsy, tangy, a lil sweet, a lil spicy, and definitely Latakia forward! The perfect components blended exceptionally! The flavor and aroma are absolutely delicious!! Some of my other favorites are Mississippi Mud, Pirate Kake, Old Ironsides, Plum Pudding, Captain Earle’s- Mystic, Nightwatch, Stimulus Package, Private Stock, and Ten Russians. If you like those I think you’ll love this! Cheers ya dirty scoundrels! Haharrr!!

Warped - Scarecrow 2oz
HORRIFICALLY DELICIOUS!
Wow! This is amazing! My wife scored a year old tin for me when this was discontinued and I broke into it last Halloween, and wow! This is a really great aromatic! It’s a perfect balance between the casing/flavoring and the natural tobacco flavors! I’ll be honest the tin note was a little intense for me, super sweet, carmel, candy corn, but you do still get some of the grassy earthy tobacco scents. But this is a really delicious smoke! You definitely get some of that aromatic sweetness but with a really great blend of that natural tobacco flavor and aromas! I was blown away at how good this is! A frightfully good blend for the spooky season, or any time of the year! Cheers!

Dan Tobacco - Old Ironsides 50g
A FRIGATE OF DELICIOUS CARGO!
Avast ye soggy sea doggs, get yer grimy hands off me delicious booty! Haharrrr! This is another absolutey awesome piratey tobacco blend! The tin note is amazing, it’s like a perfect blend of a rich Latakia heavy English and HH Old Dark Fired! It is so unbelievably yummy! The smoky deep dark Latakia smells and tastes like it’s old and aged, and that great bbq tang and smokiness of the DFK is intoxicating! There are a lot of other complex flavors that are hard for me to distinguish as a drunken Ol pirate, but all’s aye know is it be one of thee fynest tobaccos in the seven seas! Also smokes long and cool, one bowl in my Peterson 408 lasted over 90 minutes! Well mates, chart a course with Old Ironsides and enjoy the delicious voyage! Cheers!

Captain Earle's - Mystic Blend 2oz
SET SAIL FOR A MYSTICAL VOYAGE!
Wow, just wow! I’d set sail any day with the Captain! Aye, this be me second blend from Captain Earle’s and I am hooked, just like me missin hand, haharrr! A truly delicious and complex English blend! The tin note is so smoky and yummy, definitely the Latakia but also sweet and earthy, leathery and spicey, so many aromas that seem really well balanced! The flavor is amazing as well, such a delicious English blend! I love the smoky leathery Latakia, some woodsy earthy flavors, a lil sweetness from the Virginia’s and black cavendish, and I swear it’s even a bit salty at times! But that might be from me dreamin of sailing the seas with the Captain and smokin this adventurous blend! Cheers!

Hands off me booty ya filthy land lubbers! This be another truly delicious blend from that scurvy sea dogg Mr. Pease! And I absolutely love this Virginia blend! The tin note is so delicious, deep dark fruits, sweet earthy grassy Virginia’s, a lil smokiness, and a sweet boozy aroma that I believe to be rum! Yes it’s rum ya boot lickin bilge rats, cuz aye says it is, haharrrrrr! This blend smokes so smooth and cool, stays lit really well and has a delicious flavor and aroma, again sweet Virginia’s, deep fruits, a lil peppery perique, and some Smokey DFK! So escape yer boring life, pack a bowl of Six Pence and embark on a fantastic flavor voyage! Cheers!

Aye might be plunderin every last ounce of this rum soaked cargo! A truly delicious treat! Alright, I’d probably smoke yer filthy boot if ya soaked it in rum first! Haharrr! This really is a great blend though, I absolutely love it! It smells amazing in the tin, like sweet dark rum! And it is an absolutely delicious smoke, smooth, cool, mellow, and the sweet flavors of the Virginia’s and rum are ridiculous! Sooo good! I might like Black Frigate just a tiny bit more because of the Smokey Latakia, but both of these are some of my favorites! Grab a tankard of grog and a bowl of Blockade Runner and set sail! Cheers!

Another truly delicious rum soaked pirate smoke!! Absolutely love this blend! The flavor is amazing and sweet from the Virginia’s and rum, and the Smokey aroma is intoxicating! It smokes really cool and stayed lit from one light! The winds in mee sails and I be jammin fer another bowl! Haharrrrr!

Haharrrr! What a truly wondrous pirate smoke! This is absolutely a new favorite! It has such a great balance of smokeyness from the Latakia and the sweetness from the Virginia’s and rum! Just perfect for me! There is also a little pepper in my nose from the smoke and it’s nice! The Smokey and rummy tin note is ridiculous, I just keep cracking it open and breathing it in, it’s amazing! I’m sure there are plenty of other flavors I’m missing that more experienced pipers will pick up on, but all I know is I’m loving what I am experiencing! And that’s all that matters! Stays lit, smokes cool, and smells n tastes delicious! I’ll be plunderin all of this fyne tobacco from you bilge suckin scalawags!! Haharrrr!!

YUMMMMM!! This here be one of thee fynest pirate tobaccys I’ve found! Tis truly a wondrous aromatic perfect for a Pirates breakfast, haharrrrr! Not too sweet and overpowering, just a great balance of the true tobacco flavors and a light topping of maple and rum! What a perfect blend! Super smooth and cool and delicious! Alright ye soggy bottomed land lubbers, get yer arse in gear and plunder a sack of this truly fyne tobacco! You won’t be sorry! Cheers!

WOW, can I eat this please!!!
Ok seriously, this might be the most delicious smelling tobacco EVER! Straight up smells like BBQ meats, OMG! I want to just shove it in my gullet haha! Yep it’s that good! It doesn’t smell like campfire smoke like a lot of other tobaccos, it really does smell like BBQ meat smoke! And it smokes like a dream! Cool, smooth, and intoxicating! The smoke aroma is off the charts and the taste is amazing too! I’m still too new to be able to give you an accurate opinion of the different flavors I’m tasting, all I know is that this is absolutely one of my favorites I’ve had so far! I wish I could set sail on the HH Old Dark Fired and never come back! Cheers!

Delicious and unique!!
This is an AWESOME aromatic! Now I smoke and love all kinds of different tobaccos and although I do love a lot of aromatics, they can often seem very similar and one dimensional. But this stuff was sooo surprisingly different, and I loved it! Not overly sweet, not chemically, not goopy, just a great smoke! It’s subtle with its sweetness and smokiness, but then has this awesome spice that gives it a little kick! It really is so unique! And to me it has more flavor than most aromatics! A wonderful smoke! Wow another amazing find on my never ending quest for the finest pirate tobaccos! I’ve been smoking it for a month and I absolutely love this! I’m still a fairly new pirate piper and I can’t say that I can truly discern all of the subtle flavors yet that you crusty ol seaman can, but I sure know when I love something! And this stuff is delicious! It has an amazing aroma in the tin and especially when you’re smoking it! The flavor to me is earthy, Smokey, slightly sweet, and just awesome! Sometimes even a tad bit salty which is perfect fer a salty Ol pirate like me! If your a new piper don’t be afraid to chart a course with Navigator, it’s all smoooth sailin! Cheers!

Wow, I absolutely loved this! Instantly one of my new favorite piratey blends! I’m always on the hunt for the next great rum soaked tobacco to transform me into an instant pirate and this one is amazing! A delicious smoked, salty, rum flavor that is so smooth and so addicting! The perfect smoke to transport me out of this world and back to the early 1700’s! Yes I’m a massive pirate nerd but trust me this tobacco is AWESOME! Set sail if ya dare ye bilge suckin sea doggs!

I’m pretty new to the pipe hobby and have mostly smoked aromatics, but recently I’ve really started to experiment more and branch out! This is a great way to make that leap to English blends! While it’s still a delicious aromatic with hints of vanilla, it also has a great Smokey tobacco flavor of an English! Really enjoyed this, don’t be afraid to try it!

Wow, absolutely awesome!
As a relatively new pipe smoker who has only smoked aromatics I was pretty intimidated to try this! But I am soooo glad I did! It is a wonderful smoke! It smells so Smokey, earthy, and delicious in the tin and I just keep cracking it open and smelling it haha! But wow is it a pleasant smoke! It’s so smooth, and deliciously Smokey, the aroma is addicting! I was afraid this was going to be so strong but its amazingly mellow, relaxing, and intoxicating! Just a lil nic buzz which was kinda nice, haha! Definitely one of my new favorites! Cheers!

Good Virginia!
This was my very first Virginia and as a relatively new pipe smoker who has mostly smoked aromatics, I found this to be pretty darn good! Just a nice earthy, slightly sweet, mild, pleasant aroma! It reminds me of that classic nostalgic pipe smoke smell that I loved as a kid! Not something I’d smoke all the time, it’s a little middle of the road for me, but it’s still a good tobacco!

Absolutely delicious and rummy! The perfect pirate smoke! I’m a very new pipe smoker, mostly only smoked aromatics, so I was a bit intimidated by this blend! But I have to say I found it absolutely amazing! Smells pretty strong in the tin, especially the rum, and I LOVE that! But the smoke was very smooth, smelled delicious, and was so relaxing! I was blown away at how pleasant this was. Again as a new pipe smoker I thought it was gonna keelhaul my scurvy arse, but it was all smooooth sailin delight! One of my new favorites! Try it for sure!
