Not as expected
I have read about Brigham filters and I decided to try one of their pipes. It works as they say but it doen't last as I see on the explanation. Maybe I charge my pipe too much or maybe their statistics are made on small chamber pipes. I have no idea if this depend also from the type and humidity of the tobacco. In any case I think that, once finished the filters, I will try smoking the pipe without and see what happens.

It doesn't stand alone
BC keeps a lot the humidity so smoking it alone, without drying it a bit before to lit it, was a mistake. Considering the S/RN/T rating I was not expecting special effects, but I wanted something more. Sure I will give it a chance using it for my personal mixtures that need to keep more the humidity.
Peterson - My Mixture 965 50g
This was an experience
I smoked it in my Nording pipe. The long stem made me taste it in the best possible way. I will not say it is my number 1, but tasting the smoke at a lower temperature was a real experience. It is now my favorite Peterson tobacco. Not too strong, not biting, marvelous taste. I can't say about Room Note because others in the club were smoking cigars. Maybe I found the proper humidity balance.

Easy solution
This is the fast and easy way to preserve tobacco from getting dry. Then it depends of the climatic conditions. When I have the possibility to keep my tobacco in the humidor it is much better. But while travelling it saves me. And smokingpipes.com is giving it at the best possible price. I have one in every tobacco bag. In the big jars I use other products.

It's not a question of material quality or aesthetics. It is cheap, neutral, fits for the majority of pipes, it is easy to put in a pocket and have it with you everywhere. Of course I will never use it in my expositor for my collection, just for travels.
Peterson - Royal Yacht 50g
Very strong
I must say hat this tobacco has a bitter taste to me. I have tried that with two pipes, nad the result was not changing. after the smoking session the smell on my beard was not pleasant and the taste was permaning in the mount for hours. I agree with the S/RN/T rating,it is most probably only a matter of preferences and taste.
Sutliff - Z92 Vanilla Custard
Easy smoke
I am not an expert, but I am smoking pipes since 2005. This is my first vanilla tobacco and I like it a lot. Easy to lit, taste is good, smell in my office is pleasant. I think I will order more of that in the future.
