Mild to strong barely character is clear, so not too complex. Deertongue leaves a pleasant taste in the pallet and an aroma that reminds you of an old wooden furnished house. In short, it is a pleasant all day smoking.

Robust dark fired with a great taste..lights well if rubbed & dried up for an hour...very similar to Lakeland yet it has a little soure after taste .. recommended for experts & not for new commers ofcourse!!

Why?
I received my parcel today..was very excited to taste what was written in the tin description...I faced a horrbile hit in the head immediately after I lit it..tones of tongue bites ..harsh..full of rude nicotine ... I feel really guilty that I bought it...I just can't understand what is the point of making such a disappointment by a name like Mac Baren!?!?!?!?!

in short... all what you expect from Latakia is there in this luxurious tobacco ..it burns cool filling your mouth with oily creamy feeling , very rich aroma & clean inhale ...highly recommened with coffee ..also in the bed time as it gives a soothing effect

Amazing, cool & joyful.....May be because I am Syrian, or may be because Mac Baren could create the best of Latakia... But I am in love with it from the very first bowl.. To avoid the tongue bites just let it breath a little before you fill your bowl, then enjoy it slowly & you will like the mystery of flavours ...It is in my favorite list for sure. Thanks Mac Baren, Thanks Smoking Pipes for availing it to me

Cool smoking , but never count on it
To smoke a pure black cavandish means you are partially satisfying your needs, yet you still miss something. I advise you to have it but never count on it alone. you may smoke it between your daily pipes just to change the tobacco bites (if any) with this zesty and very mild flavour. It smells excellent, no after taste, and burns very very cold.
