Boot leather goodness
I was going to give this a four stars only because you cannot smoke this on a regular basis this is like a fine scotch or whiskey only to be enjoyed every once in awhile. I would also recommend that you have a separate pipe for this as it will ghost anything you put it in even clay or meerschaum. The nicotine level is high and we'll put you on your arse if you do not be careful. The Taste is raw and very different then most tobacco's I cannot put my finger on it but it is very earthy and dark chocolate. The Room note is pungent I imagine it would not be very pleasant for people around. A little bit of drying time is required for a better smoke. Over all I like this as a change of pace and when I would like something strong this also goes great with a dark beer if you're trying to find something to pair and drink with it.

Superb craftsmanship
This is the most elegant lighter I have found out there the finish on it it's like black Chrome it is fitted together extremely well and the attention to detail is outstanding. The package that comes with is also nice enough where I keep the lighter in there. The art work is something to be looked at and admired you won't go wrong with this lighter. Also the soft flame is perfect for the best lighting experience you can find next to a match if not better. My only downside is that you will not be using this in a windy area but that's what we have pipes Zippos for =)
Seattle Pipe Club - Mississippi River Special Reserve 4oz
Smooth and tasty
In my ever ending love for a Latakia I thought I would try this and I was not disappointed. It is so smooth and rich the room notes are nice and the burn is nice of you let it dry out a bit 10-20 mins as it comes very wet but read to put in a mason jar. The tin note is sweet and almost cake or fruit like. Comes in a semi hard plug. Easy to rub out. I have found that most Latakia Blends go great in churchwardens. As they are already a cool smoke this enhances their flavor, separating anything that is mixed with them giving it a greater complexity and makes it almost like flavored air.

My frogmorton replacement
This is a very strong Latakia foreword blend. Ive tryed to find something similar to frog Morton original and in doing so I found something different but just as good. I highly recommend you smoke this any churchwarden as that's the best pipe I have found to complement this blend and the Retro hail is the best. This will forever be my new favorite Latakia blend.
McClelland - Craftsbury: Frog Morton 100g

As you all know McClelland is closeing down and if you get a chance to try there craftsbury blends you wont be disapointed they are smooth and mild. They will always be my favorite english blends.

Shagalicious
Great shag Virginia I like it better that the C&D bright Virginians as they are lighter and burn up way to quick. This has more of a mellow not darker but heavy note. I personally love to role ciges with this for when I have some friends over for poker night and they love it. I don't smoke cigarettes. So for me this is also my best go to when I want to smoke my corn cob =)
BriarWorks - Back Down South 2oz
Perfect out of jar
If your wondering if you should get this DO IT NOW. Its perfect out of jar the moisture content is the best I've had in awhile not overly wet or any crispy dryness around edges. the cut is soft, mild and can be pulled apart easily. The note in my opinion is fruity(fig kind of fruit or some sort of red berry), nutty brown chocolate with a sweetness that I almost want to just grab it and chew it strait out of the jar. It smelt so good and don't be mistaken this is not even a aromatic. The smoke is great very consistent, (if cut or rubbed out right) and burns very even. Burns along time 40 to an hour. The Tastes is high mild, can taste different notes throughout the smoke especial if relight a couple of times although I didn't feel the need to even after tamping the ash down. Great for Spring time. This jar of Back Down South is a 10/10 for me.
Cornell & Diehl - Bright Virginia Ribbon
Nice ribon cut
I found my self mixing this with some black cavandish and Latakia. It is fine by ots self but burns fast and can burn hot if not carfull. It smells great and when it came bag it was the perfect moistness.

Smooth and Cool
This is the best latakia ive ever smoked. Its great as a mixer and if you so desire smoked by its self all though I love it by its self is great if put with Cornell & Diehl: Bright Virginia Ribbon in a little bit of McClelland: Blending Perique and if you want a sweeter note a tad bit of some black cavandish as well.

What Black Cavendish is
Can be mix, smoked alone, sweet, cool smoking, smells great, convinces other non-pipe smokers that there is something else out there for them. Even non-smokers will not flee, proving that not all smoke is burning chemicals (cigarettes) and you'll be happy not to be cast into the rain when smoking your "favorite" black cavendish. Also is a nice billowy smoker.

A good all around blend
My Best go-to Blend, also my first time for tobacco so I have a soft spot for it. Even with my opinion a little one sided, even my friends like this blend and the non-pipe smokers in the group like the smell as it is none offencive and dare I say convincing. It does smoke cool with the proper light "DON'T BURN IT, run hot" let it smolder and it won't give bite. Also i've found that the longer it sits the better it becomes. Can have a little something extra added if you think it will help the blend it is missing something but like I said I love it for what it is a normal go-to blend. You will not be disappointed if you're not looking for greatness and will be surprised if you try to mix it with something else in search of greatness.
Cornell & Diehl - Sansepolcro 2oz
An Art and A Good Time.
I've Never had a better Cornell & Diehl tobacco this is my favorite from them. Nice, earthy and strong. It has complicated notes for sure and if you don't like, for lack of a better term "spicey" then it's not for you. It's not spicy in the sense that most are used to and i can't put my finger on it,ex... almost like when you eat wasabi for the first time it's spicy but not the kind you were expecting or used to. But man it smokes cool and it the first time i've ever had it smoke into a famous white ash with nothing left that "we all" strive for, the signs of a we'll executed smoke and most importantly well enjoyed. I personally recommend it to anyone looking for something new or is just looking for a good old fashioned/world tobacco. I hope they will continue to make this as it would be a crime and shame for it to be a limited make.

Like a Cake
I love this black cavendish, it is smooth all the way through. It has the notes it says it does and is nice to mix with other dark blends. It will bite if you have a bad habit of "burning" your tabacao or aren't used to wet tobaccos, let it smolder don't rush it and will taste sweet/cool.
