Best damn vanilla pipe tobacco in the world. Easy to pack and light the smoke is creamy white vanilla malt shake I’m not kiddin this tobacco puts me in a good mood. The aroma from the pouch is heaven the taste after you light it stays just as good as from the pouch I could smoke this stuff all night long thank you sutliff and guys from smoking pipes your doing an awesome job KUDOS

What’s up with all the negative comments? Capt black original is awesome pipe tobacco. If you pack it right, which doesn’t take a rocket scientist, it burns perfectly to a nice grey ash. We’re talkin vanilla, chocolate, caramel and I swear I can detect rum the room note is off the hook the flavor friggin awesome I could smoke this tobacco 24-7 no problem. I’m hooked for life. Thank you captain and thank you smokingpipes you got a customer for life. Shiver me Timbers I’m gonna light up another bowl…

Ok let me tell you this is a toss up between lane 1-Q and capt black original I think I like em both equally the capt is basically 1-Q bit stronger more of a vanilla chocolate and RUM aroma and flavor it’s got more kick and nic than 1-Q sweet black cavendish soaked in the pitates rum burns evenly to the bottom leaving grey ash this tobacco is awesome if we would have traded to the Sioux and Cheyenne we would have had a peace treaty from the start the lane 1-Q has vanilla room note with maple and brown sugar and the sweet virginias so the verdict is in I love em both equally capt black original for some strength and bite and lane limited 1-Q for a milder sweeter version thank you guys at smoking pipes you got a customer for life shiver me Timbers I’m gonna pack my third bowl Right Now yeeeehaa

Ok I know it’s plastic but guess what this little booger is awesome fits my Peterson sherlock Holmes heritage perfect. Keeps it in an upright position instead of laying it on it side. Be gentle with it cause it’s delicate and that way it won’t break. And even if it did break for whatever reason buy another one for 1 dollar you can’t loose

My # 1 favorite
This is my new all time favorite tobacco I have ever had. The taste the Flavor the way the entire room smells this tobacco is the best I’ve ever smoked opening the bag the aroma is to die for from the top of the bowl to the bottom it’s an experience you must not miss. I packed my Sherlock Holmes basil rathbone pipe only half way and it lasted a good 1 hour funny thing is it gets better with each puff and I occasionally inhale this stuff it’s that good. The room note five stars the taste five stars the nicotine presence is a perfect balance just the right strength. It’s just like captain black original with a little more burley and a lot more vanilla plus maple brown sugar the sweet flavor of the black cavendish and Virginia's. Anybody that gives this tobacco a bad review will need extensive physiological help this stuff puts me in a good mood if you like aromatics this is by far the best on planet earth thank you Lane and smoking pipes you have a customer for life…

I guess I expected more vanilla fragrance from the tin but when you smoke it the vanilla is there I also get maple with brown sugar I mixed this 1/2 & 1/2 with captain black original and holy moly this is now my favorite mixture the vanilla shines through along with the maple and brown sugar makes the whole room smell so damn good I can’t believe by accident I created an awesome mixture that I love I’m on my third bowl through a Peterson Sherlock basil rathbone original full bent thank you lane and mac barren

It’s not a Tabacco for the beginner that’s just my opinion but if you’re looking for a strong tabacco flavor with a ton of nicotine than this is it and it’ll wake you up Watson. Great taste burns perfect all the way down
