Smooth Horn (G) Tobacco Pipe

The Horn shape is often a double-edged sword as far as pipe shapes go. Ordinarily, the more striking, or interesting, or beautiful the piece, the larger it is, which, for many pipe smokers, increases the difficulty of leisurely use and thus decreases the usefulness of the pipe as a smoking instrument. Here Tsuge has got it nailed down, creating a sort of organic Horn-Egg hybrid. While not modest in size, the composition is understated, clean, and as elegant as the form ought to be, with crisp, lean lines on each flank that frame both the pipe's composition and grain exhibition.
