About This Pipe
The "606" shape is very reminiscent of a classic English Pot shape, the shank being on the slimmer end of what a Peterson design might traditionally incorporate, but this is certainly a Peterson through and through. Especially since they chose such a splendid contrast stain this year for the St. Patrick's Day pipes. The grain is the major focal point for this briar, as birdseye works its way from the left flank around the front of the bowl and cross grain tears across the rim. Engraved on the nickel band is a shamrock and 'March 17 2012'.
