About This Pipe
The '106' is Peterson's larger classic straight billiard (the '6' shape being its little brother). This particular example sports some rather striking bands of stripe-like grain on either flank, and birdseye down much of the middle. The grain is beautifully highlighted by the contrast stain employed on 2010's St. Patrick's Day series and the whole composition is completed by the silver band at the end of the shank.
