Plateau Natural P-Lip Tobacco Pipe

Yeah, I know. I wasn't expecting this either! While Peterson does some hand shaping in its highest echelon pipes, the shapes remain defiantly English/Irish in nature. Born within the House Pipes series and positioned at the pinnacle of the same, the Plateau series is so new that even the Peterson corporate site is mum on the pipes, and these ground breaking briars represent a monumental departure from the Peterson shaping gestalt. As you would expect from any offspring of the House lineup, this Plateau Natural is quite liberal in size and makes quite a statement before the details are taken into account. The plateau that is inspiration for the series namesake appears on both the crown and mount and flaunts an almost geological ruggedness. The shape and grain are, of course, superlative and no other freehand in the world can boast Peterson's patented P-Lip bit. Expected? Hardly. Welcomed? Oh. very much so!
