Fine flame grain, some lively fluting, and wild, naturalistic gesture of shaping - despite being one solid sitter - there's nothing static about the design of this Poul Winslow bent Dublin. The accent-work is rather curious as well, with a simple sterling silver band followed up by a parti-colored, acrylic-and-briar (and-possibly-boxwood) composite ferrule. That's an unusual combination of materials to see melded together, leaving me wondering if Poul makes it himself.
