Once again Michal Novak has fashioned up a rather extraordinary piece in the form of this beautiful freehand briar. What would have been a lovely, robust bent Dublin in its own right is here benefited from the addition of a hard undulating lip that travels across the face and flanks of the bowl, furnishing a sense of natural asymmetry and motion to the overall composition.
