Poul Winslow's gone with a rather curious color scheme for this stout Acorn sitter, with a rather quiet walnut stain for the briar and a multi-colored "1970s kitchen decor" acrylic ferrule. (Well, it shares a similar palette to what I recall of my parents' old house's kitchen, at least.) It's all a bit whimsical, perhaps, but then Poul has always taken a playful approach to his pipe design.
