About This Pipe
Taking their already beautifully smooth-flowing "49" Calabash design, and stretching it out with a long, lithe demi-Churchwarden stem, Castello here presents us with one very fine silhouette indeed - not to mention what is also surely a very cool and smooth smoker. What's more, while I'm not sure when they first began using their "Occhio di Pernice" stamping to denote particularly fine birdseye, this cross-grained briar is more than worthy of such a designation, given that both flanks are absolutely crowded with the stuff.
