About This Pipe
When birdseye is blasted (like it on the right and left flanks of this bowl), the little 'dots' in the center of each 'eye' are harder briar, which means the softer briar around it blasts away more. The result is something akin to pumice stone or very coarse sandpaper. Quite interesting to hold, and looks mighty fine on this offering.
